The Hero and the Villain Have the Same Story!
In every movie we’ve seen in our lifetime, there is a protagonist and an antagonist. There is a hero and a villain.
The hero is positive, well-built, generous, helpful, and ultimately a winner.
The villain is negative, sinister, and evil and always tries to thwart the plan of the hero.
Over the years, something became very evident to me. Many times, the hero and the villain have similar backstories.
Both stories are filled with adversity and pain. The hero may be an orphan who feels that no one loves him.
The villain might have a scar on his face, which indicates some form of physical abuse.
There is ONE key difference between both characters. It is how they respond to the pain they endure.
The hero responds to his pain by making sure no one else endures his hardships. The villain responds by hurting others.
Are you a hero or a villain? How do you respond to pain? We can’t avoid adversity; it is an integral part of life. However, we can ALWAYS control how we respond to it.
If we react to pain in a positive, constructive way, our future will be much brighter than our past.
