One day, a pastor dug into his pocket and pulled out a fresh, crisp $100 dollar bill and asked his congregation, "Who would like to have this $100?" Instantly, every hand in the church was raised.

After viewing their response, the pastor crumpled the bill until it became bite-sized and almost unrecognizable. He stated, "Who would like to have this now?" Not one hand dropped. The pastor began to mercilessly stomp on the bill several times and asked the same question to his congregation. Again, everyone still desired the $100 bill.

The pastor said, "Even though the bill is crumpled up, dirty, and ruined, you all still see the value of the bill. The world will beat us up, ruin and stain us, and discard our souls like rotten fruit. However, God still sees our value and still desires us."

Do you know your value? Do you know how valuable you are in the eyes of God? When life throws challenges and hardships our way, they may beat us down sometimes. They may knock us to the ground. We may make the wrong decisions over and over again. However,

we are still valuable in the eyes of the Lord. We are still desirable. This is the power of His love.
